Creating A Healthy Mental Landscape Meditation

Featured Post Image - Creating A Healthy Mental Landscape Meditation

When the mind holds onto traumas, in a way where it sees them in the periphery, like a constant reminder that something bad occurred, it can skew its perception, making it feel as though trouble could be about to happen at any moment.

The mind unknowingly uses this old mass to tell it how to behave, causing it to stay frightened, cautious, on guard and ready to fight some battle that has already played out some time ago.

When the mind views reality, it sees through eyes that are clouded by judgement, and things like beliefs that belong to a moment of trauma, making it unable to decipher if that person is safe or not. This makes every situation intense, overly dramatic, stressful or awkward due to that individual tensing up ready for something bad to happen.

Looking out into the world through a filter that makes things bleed through from your past can cause identity issues and fears to crop up that have no relevance in the now, as well as all sorts of distrust due to illusionary situations repeatedly interacting with the mind.

A worldview that is warped by trauma can be a tricky thing to navigate, as everywhere that you go, there before you is something dramatic just waiting to interact with your life. These remnants of the past can be let go of, if you acknowledge what they mean to you a certain way, where the mind recognises that it no longer needs to know this information.

A kind of glance in the direction of what you once held onto is necessary, and then the mind can decide, “Ah yes, I remember this event that is long since over with. It’s time to surrender this old thought pattern and come back into homeostasis.”

Without this acknowledgement the mind will refuse to look at what is held outside of its visionary elements as a stressful encounter, due to it being too busy dealing with reality. This is why meditating is a great way to address this problem, as the mind has nothing more important to do than relax itself into calm.

Through meditation, you can increase your will. You can stay balanced and sure of yourself. You also have a way into visions of the past, due to focussing on words that guide you to where you need to place your attention, in order for that old energy to be let go of.

A mental landscape is made up of elements that exist in the mind’s periphery, in its focal point of straight ahead, and anything that is around its eye, which includes its psychic sight as well.

Each of the senses also plays a role in how the mind perceives the world. This is why they will be assessed during the meditative process as well, to make sure that they are not holding onto wasteful energies that speak of some traumatic event.

Sometimes a person goes through something that boggles their mind so severely, that they cannot let it go, when it comes to all of the thought energy that was created in that moment of shock. This leaves them incapable of surrendering all of what they went through that was traumatic, on the level of perceptions, feelings, sensory stress, awareness, fear and any kind of experience that the body itself had.

When a person has to deal with all of this energy still being inside of them, it can keep them from trusting anything and anyone, because throughout their system of chi are storylines of threat or something dramatic.

Trauma plays out in the mind’s perception, on a nonstop loop, until it can see the world differently again, and the only way to make this happen, is for it to be relieved of what it experienced in the past.

Meditation is a great way to clear old energy out of the mind, by it making the focal element blank until the guided visualisation is complete. The mind is forced to rest, while the eyes are closed, so it no longer sees the world around the body, nor all of the garbage energy that was bothering it in its periphery.

Instead, it sees a clear landscape (or the back of the eyelids) and it makes the assumption that it is time to rest, so it switches gears into an alpha state, in order to clear out its memories and other daytime thoughts.

This process of shutting the eyes also makes the mind block out reality, in a certain way, where it stops thinking nonstop thoughts of action, and it slows down to thinking only one thought at a time.

This lets it ease unhealthy energies out of the head, with the slow rhythmic pulse of the brain, which gradually moves things downwards towards the neck, so that they can be processed out of the body.

With each thought that is experienced in alpha, a person surrenders conscious thoughts of reality, simply because the mind has changed its pattern of behaviour to one of a calmer kind.

It is like a horse cantering from one moment to the next, and when it slows down in its calm moments, it gets its breath back, it sweats out all of its stress or action/momentum energy, its heart rate decreases, and it knows that it is able to recuperate.

This is the same with the human mind. When it is resting, stilling itself in calm thought patterns, it is able to extract all of its unwanted thought mass, and throw it away, while it is in recovery mode.

The same principle applies when a person is asleep, as the mind has switched over into a state of releasing the day it had. When it wakes up again, it goes back to processing things in its quicker format, like the cantering horse.

This process of going between faster and slower thoughts is necessary, in order for the mind to recognise when it is time to let go of its past. This is why, meditation is so helpful for people who have issues with their mind racing all of the time, as it creates a new pattern form, where the mind is aware that it should slow down when the eyes are closed, relieving it of its stress.

Creating a regular meditative practice is imperative for anyone who has issues transitioning into a restful sleep mode at night time, because this can be a sign that the mind is overworked and struggling to relax.

It just needs to remember how to stop racing, and then it can recover when the lights go out, or the eyes shut for sleep.

This behaviour of running endlessly without rest can be caused by a stressful encounter sitting in the periphery, which keeps the mind thinking that it must stay alert in order to fight off whatever problem that person associates with a traumatic experience entering their world.

Of course, this happened some time ago, but due to all of the clouding going on, the mind cannot tell whether what is real and happening now is free from the elements of whatever stunned it in the past, as the fog contains visions and thoughts that belong to the mind and its perceptions.

What needs to happen is for all of that old knowing to be shifted away from the eyes, the 3rd eye, the mind and its concentration, as well as from each of the senses, so that the world is perceived clearly again.

This meditation can do just that, by walking the participant through a myriad of choices that they can make, leading them towards releasing their past. It just takes a mind that is resting, for a person to see with their internal vision, what has eluded them, when it comes to problematic energies that have remained within them since a trauma took place.

A shift is all that is needed, and then that individual can see reality as it comes, instead of worry dominating over their perception.

This meditation specifically works with moving energy out of the head that is causing visual distortions, distrust in reality, dream disturbance, and out-of-body experiences due to fright filling that person so often that feel elevated away from being in the physical realm.

It can also help people who are convinced of things of an illusionary nature, due to old times of life still remaining as a part of their overall knowing, where they believe the things being told to them by their senses.

Whatever is playing tricks on the mind, it will be addressed first, so that other problematic energies can be removed, once the main culprits are out of the way. Then you can look forward to seeing life through new eyes, where the landscape before you is free from past influences that made you shy away from the things that you wanted to do.

A lot can change in a positive way, when you remove old knowing’s from what speaks to you daily about the person that you are as a sensory being. With the past gone from your periphery, you can choose new thoughts of a higher vibration, instead of ones that tell you to restrict your happiness.
