I began teaching this life-changing modality in 2010, on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, and I have to say, it is one of my favourite things to do!

I love empowering people to change who they are in positive ways, where they walk away from my courses feeling like they can tackle anything, because they have the ability to clear old energy out of their body.

Why is this important?

Because trauma is something that can keep a person stuck in a low vibration state, where they say ‘no’ to amazing opportunities, and life passes them by, while they are scared to express themselves fully.

My workshops empower people to transform what is inside of them in the form of old energy, so that they are capable of walking towards what they want, with a confidence that tells them that they deserve good things to come their way.

My teaching method is light-hearted, with comedy thrown in to keep us all vibrating at a high level, so that should any of your past rear-up and say “pay attention to me” you easily ignore what it is reminding you of, as you’re having such a good time.

I’m a silly person who goofs around and plays with her students, becuase my inner child loves to have fun.

This is why my reviews show students lighting up, having a great time, because I attract people to my courses who are ready to transform their lower vibrations and become a better person overall.

I tell you important information that you can use to heal yourself and others. I show you all of the in’s and out’s of how to use Reiki the traditional way, so that should you want to set up your own healing business one day, then you have both the certification and the tools that you need to do so.

I take this work very seriously, so much so, that I did not teach for 10 full years, because I was going through something personally that meant that I could not give my students 100% of my attention anymore, as I needed every ounce of my energy to heal myself.

I took time off from doing the thing that I love the most, so that I could be the best version of me when I returned. I didn’t think that it would take as long as it did, but my wounds were vast and many, so I couldn’t rush things along or force myself to come back sooner.

Instead, I took the time necessary to do the work on myself, so that I knew that I could give every new student of mine what they deserved, when it came to me showing up and saying what I needed to, in order for them to get the most out of my workshops.

This level 1 Reiki course will be the first time that I am taking on new students in a decade, as my brother passed away while I was already dealing with chronic depression, that was brought on by a repressed past waking up inside of me.

This tough time made me shutdown on a level of speech, to where I could not communicate properly with others, just how bad I was feeling, nor could I face people to tell them what was going on. I couldn’t stand up and be strong. I just crumbled into a heap of self-doubt and began cutting people out of my life.

Luckily, a lot has changed since then, because I diligently looked at who I was, and all of the memories that were talking to me about the person that I used to be in domestic violence situations of my past.

I had to chip away at scars to find the real me, and while it felt like it took forever, I am very grateful for all that I learnt, because it changed me into a more grounded person.

This particular Reiki 1 course will be the very first time that I have taught since my final workshop in Melbourne in 2016, which was around the 1-year anniversary of my brothers passing.

While it will be hard for me to face up to who I was back then, I am now finally ready to tackle that head-on, as all of my other stuff is out of the way.

Below is a list of what will be covered in this level 1 workshop, as well as the dates, cost and location.

DAY ONE

We will cover the basics of what Reiki is, how to use it on yourself, hand positions for giving treatments, and the logistics of how to do a self-healing from start to finish when you are wanting to increase your energy.

I will attune you to Reiki level 1, which just involves you resting for a moment while I open you up energetically, so that you can receive the eternal light source of your Higher Self. That way, you can download universal chi into your physical form and come to be enlightened in a way where you let go of your past.

By the end of the first day, you will know how to heal yourself, how to call on universal energy, as well as what it takes to be a healer.

DAY TWO

This is where I teach you how to work on other people, so that should you want to heal your family members, friends or clients, you can do so confidently.

I tell you how to set up your healing room or a space where you can do treatments, as well as how to keep yourself topped up with energy so that you always perform the best Reiki sessions that you can do.

I go over ethics and how important client confidentiality is, so that you know the rules when it comes to sharing what has been told you; as well as a range of other topics that help you to walk away from this course feeling ready to heal yourself and others to the best of your ability.

I’m taking 2 days to teach this course to spend time working on you first, so that when you decide to begin healing other people, you know that you have shifted out of you, anything that could hold you back from asserting yourself in a confident way.

On day 1, I will explain the importance of self-healing, so that at any time that you need to, you can take the necessary steps to make yourself feel more empowered, should you be in a slump where self-doubt is overruling your mind.

Day 2 is solely focussed on you learning how to work on clients, so that if you want to use this healing power to make other people feel better, you can do so with the techniques given to you in this course material.

You will learn traditional Usui Reiki and be certified as such, with my lineage being included in your manual, so that should you want to get insurance and begin your own practise, then you have everything that you need to make this happen.
