After teaching traditional Usui Reiki for a couple of years, I decided that I wanted to add my sacred geometry creations into the mix, as I had been personally working with these energies, and found them to be a powerful asset to any healing that I did.

I was never really someone who worked with the traditional Reiki symbols, despite me performing hundreds of healings since the time of me learning Reiki when I was 19 years old. So, when my sacred geometry symbols came through, I began using them in a multitude of different ways, and it became apparent to me that I should include them in what I was teaching people about healing, so that they could learn about the magic of the Sacred Symbols of the Stars. This is when Galactic Reiki was born!

I would use my sacred geometry throughout the attunement process, as well as me showing my students how to interpret information for their healing clients, by them picking symbols for them, and either sharing the information provided in the manual, or intuiting their own information themselves.

It was fun, and many students suddenly realised how in-tune they were with their clients, as the symbols gave them confidence to be empowered. Each student was given a set of the First Series of the Sacred Symbols of the Stars, as well as them having the meanings of each one within their workshop manual.

They were told the possible reasons for why that symbol could have been chosen for their healing client, and this added a whole new dimension to the healings that they were offering people.

Galactic Reiki 1 introduced the students to the symbols, as well as them learning hands-on healing techniques that could be used by both themselves and other people. They were also shown how to interpret messages for their clients at the beginning of a healing session, so as to find out the ‘theme’ of what they would be clearing that day.

Galactic Reiki 2 expanded on the first level, and it taught the students how to do distant healings using the Sacred Symbols of the Stars. As well as them learning how to use the distant healing image that was provided to them, that depicted their client being grounded and protected before the healing began.

Galactic Reiki 3 (or Masters) was once again a course that utilised the Sacred Symbols of the Stars as a tool to enhance their healing energy and provide possible feedback about the issues that their healing recipient was dealing with. It was also a course where the students were taught how to do house and land clearings using my sacred geometry creations, as well as each person being shown how to run their own Galactic Reiki workshops, should they choose to become teachers themselves.

The Galactic Reiki manuals had grounding and protection techniques that I had personally channelled, as well as a wealth of information that was not shared in my traditional Reiki courses.

I began teaching Galactic Reiki in December of 2012, and shared it with my students in a range of different locations on the Sunshine Coast, Sydney and Perth, until my final workshop at my home in Valdora in March 2016.

GALACTIC REIKI RETREAT

SEPTEMBER 2014

APPLECROSS, WESTERN AUSTRALIA

“A beautiful introduction to energy work. The day was structured, well combined with a relaxed atmosphere. The slow integration of getting used to touching others to implement healing could not have been done better!” “Wow! What a powerful day. Level 1 was a good introduction, but level 2 is a powerful shift. It helped to heal my pre-emptive nature to assume that others will be negative.”

Juanita Spedding

“Kushla you are an amazing teacher. I loved all the information you shared. I loved what you shared about the symbols of the Usui system. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the info you shared with me about my star family, it ties so many things together, and makes sense of everything. I can’t even begin to say here, there’s not enough room or time! I feel I am starting to get a sense of what I came here to do. Much love and blessings to you Kushla!” “I so enjoyed today, lots and lots of learning and laughter. I feel soooooo much happened today. I think I will sleep well tonight. I loved all the personal stories you shared, inspiring! I love your fearlessness. Thank you!!!”

Fiona Osoba

“What a wonderful day filled with amazing energy. Kushla you are fabulous, a great teacher, and a beautiful person. I feel my fear may be blocking me, so today is all about surrendering to the process and opening up to the Universe. I want to let go of the outcome and enjoy the process.” “What an amazing day. Felt so much more connected to myself, more confident and relaxed and trusting in the process. I absolutely LOVED the distant healing and house clearing. Was super proud that I got some information for Clare. The attunement was incredible. Thank you Kushla, I feel so blessed to be here.”

Tracey Finhemore

“The energy in the room was very powerful, almost buzzing. The attunement process was very supportive and gentle. I felt held and nurtured. A whole new element to the art of Reiki healing.” “Today was amazing! I felt such a release, a much lighter energy. The attunement was so powerful and flowed freely. The energy exchange blew me away and allowed deep seeded blocks to release from this life and past lives. A very empowering, beautiful experience.”

Deanne Cox

“Interesting, this is the first time for me with anything like this.”

Carol Cohen

“I found this workshop fascinating, challenging and mind blowing. When it comes to my spiritual path, my gifts came easy to me. This new kind of learning is forcing me to tap into abilities I thought I didn’t have. I am excited to complete the next 2 levels to see what manifests. I know there is so much more in me, this may be just what I need to develop. Love and sunshine.” “Wow! Talk about rocking my world! So much energy, reconnecting with my spiritual self. Freaking out how mirrored we are, in saying that, I have never really connected to someone like that before. Awesome! Love and sunshine!!”

Clare Millar

“I absolutely had the most magical day! I loved the attunements and working with the sacred geometry. It was the most I have ever been grounded and in-tune with Source. I feel transformed and more confident to go and do healings, channel and read cards!” “I had such a different day to yesterday. The morning was transformational, the second half of the day was a struggle energetically, but very positive.”

Marisa Bozanich

“Absolutely amazing experience! The attunement process was blissful and I had a beautiful exchange of energy during the first hands-on healing. Can’t wait for more!” “It just gets better! Really interesting learning how to read the body symptoms. Attunement felt wonderful. Lovely, I now have the tools to heal other people/spaces from afar.”

Nicola Lavery

“I absolutely love Kushla’s workshops she is such a fun, quirky teacher with a world full (or galaxy full) of knowledge. I have done Reiki before and I do love it! But this is a whole new level! I’ve been a bit lost lately, and I feel after just one day I’m fully back in my body and back on my path. Thank you Kushla you’re a true angel.” “Absolutely loved this part of the workshop. Love that I can now heal others that aren’t able to come to me. The Distant Healing poster is beautiful.”

Shani Chambers

“Galactic Reiki 1 was amazing! I feel like I have had a major healing, and I feel so refreshed and new and shiny.” “I loved, loved, loved learning the Distant Healing. The attunement was AMAZING!”

Merinda Smith

“Absolutely amazing opportunity. I felt so many higher vibrations using the galactic symbols. I am so intrigued and excited to continue this journey, and just want to thank you!” “Today doing the Distant Healing and House Clearing was very different to what I had in mind, much harder to concentrate with others energies/thoughts in the room, but still managed to do it. The Reiki 2 attunement was beautiful and I felt quite relaxed afterwards, even a little tired after too.”

Kaitlin Greco

“Such a beautiful workshop. So much has been opened, and has helped me to look through new eyes. Can’t wait to see what happens in the next workshop and in life after finishing the whole Reiki workshop.” “Wow!! This was intense. So much has changed in how I look at things. I feel more in tune with my intuition and have learnt to trust myself a little bit more. I am so amazed with what has been learnt.”

Katie Hawkes

“Felt much more grounded and present today, no resistance to the Galactic Reiki 2. Loved learning more around distant and house clearing. Very nice day.”

Sahhavi

“I think this course is great and I can’t wait till I’m fully opened up to it all.”

“Best day ever!! Thank you so much, today I has a massive shift during the attunement. “I absolutely loved today and everything about it. I feel energised and extremely excited for what’s to come in the next couple of days. Kushla is a total goddess. Today was unf*kinreal!! I saw and felt some things during the level 2 attunement that blew my tiny mind, and I learnt some new skills that I’m sure will be deeply beneficial for many years to come. Can’t wait for tomorrow!! My tiny mind has been so completely blown by the things I have learnt and experienced during this workshop that there are no words that could possibly do it justice. In just 3 days my life has been forever changed for the better and I plan to use all of my new tasty skills – combined with the genius of the Sacred Symbols of the Stars – to better and heal myself, my friends and family, and eventually the world. Thank you so much Kushla, you truly are an amazing teacher, person, and now friend. Shine on you crazy diamond.”

“What a beautiful day! Loved doing Galactic Reiki again, was a whole new experience as I am a completely different person after doing all your workshops. LOVED my healing too, double bonus. “This is my second time doing this retreat and the energies and frequencies are even more amazing than I knew, it’s like I’m downloading more pure energies. The 2nd attunement was much more exciting the second time round. I felt and saw a lot more than usual. Lots of laughter release than tears. Thank you once again, you have blown my mind! Absolutely loved the whole weekend, jizzfest baby!!! Whoah!”

Kaitlin Greco

“As a repeat student resitting day 2 of GRR I got to test my prior knowledge and current skill set with confirming results. It was a completely different experience compared to being a new student. I received more gifts through the attunement to assist me in my galactic journey.”

APRIL 2015

WEMBLEY, WESTERN AUSTRALIA

“Unique and amazing experience. As someone new to this – everything was explained and taught from scratch. Thoroughly enjoyable weekend!”

Renae Kenneison

“Absolutely loved it! I’ve been waiting, and now can’t wait for the integration to kick in. Thank you Kushla. The most relaxed, laid-back workshops I’ve done! Met some fab people.”

Carla Torien

“A wonderful experience. Loved the group, lots of love and laughter going on. Will enjoy playing with the cards, learning more about them and how to use them effectively. Have been told by different people I need to be a healer. I feel I am on the right track and moving forward. The cards will help me work through my own sh*t that needs clearing!”

Glen Schindler

“Dear Kushla, thank you for showing me love, and allowing me to access your workshop. I feel like I have made some friends for life (part of my tribe). Thank you for sharing your personal stories and wisdom from above. I look forward to doing another workshop with you another time. Unfortunately, I won’t make the upcoming ones, but I’ll find you again.”

Jess Ingram

“Feeling very at ease, usually I am a fairly anxious person. Instantly felt comfortable being a part of such an awesome group. Kushla is such a wonderful teacher, can’t wait for the next workshop!”

Alice Gray

“Amazing! Great people, learnt a lot about protection and how important it is to use all of the time. Looking forward to using and learning more about the symbols. Thank you so much had a great time and learnt a lot.”

Linda Jeffs

“Really enjoyed the workshop, very down to earth and easy going. Easy to retain the information to use it quickly and easy in the healings (never retained traditional Reiki and symbols). Thank you.”

“This is my second time doing Galactic Reiki, and once again I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I feel like I’m now really understanding how to work with the energy and the beautiful symbols Kushla has gifted the world. I like that the course has been split into sections as I feel like it will give me the time to soak up the hands-on healing and space clearing techniques.”

Bee Darlington

“This was my second time, I am so much more as ease and ready to take on the world, must have been the Reiki I received this morning.”

Katie Hawkes

Clare Millar

“It was good. Even though I’ve done Galactic Reiki previously, it was very informative and reminded me of what I’d forgotten. You’re very thorough with your descriptions and a really good teacher. I had fun. All your workshops are awesome. I always have fun and enjoy myself.”

GALACTIC REIKI RETREAT

OCTOBER 2015

SERPENTINE, WESTERN AUSTRALIA

“Loving the symbols! Looking forward to using them exploring them and playing. Workshop was an awesome experience. Kushla is fantastic. Space was very healing and comfortable to be in. Learnt a lot, thank you so much. Will definitely see you at the Sacred Symbols workshop to get my awesomeness on! My favourite part was the attunements! Very powerful and I gained a lot of information.”

Amber Leigh Cummings

“Enjoyed the workshop. Great group, lovely energy. The best bit was the attunements as you drift off to different places. Got all sorts of different sensations, colours etc. The second one for me was more intense as I felt things unblocking, 3rd eye and hearing. I even met a new guide which was great. Thank you Kushla.”

Adele Shorter

“Galactic Reiki workshops are always so much fun! I love connecting with the other star children and like-minded crazy pants awesome souls. Once again, a MASSIVE thank you to you for firstly accepting me into level 1 earlier this year and charging me minimal money. I don’t know how much it will change my life yet. Well, I do because it’s started to change, and people around me. Also, more thanks to you for bringing this whole thing out of your brain and consciousness into reality. EPIC DUDE! I am totally waffling on. You know I love you, I know you love me, and I’m eternally grateful to be part of the crew. Yay! My favourite part of the experience was the day f*ckin two. Bombarded with blissful energy after the second attunement. Yeah baby. Also, Nando’s sleepover, stars, everything!”

Jess Ingram

“Interesting concept and use of Reiki. The most important thing being that is if traditional Reiki doesn’t work for you, then it is okay to vary to a way that does. Call me old fashioned, but regular use of some certain words can be tiring for others. By all means be yourself, you are an amazing lady, but my ‘awesomeness’ cringes at the use of these words. Overall thought, it was a very interesting workshop, and I am leaving with a lot of new stuff to integrate in my existing work. My favourite part was the second half of day three. You took command and brought unity back to the group. Have a wonderful time on your travels, and please don’t be offended / upset by my words. They are meant to be positive input and definitely not criticism.”

Marilyn Krogh

“As always, blown away by these awesome symbols. Love, love, love them more and more. Kushla you are amazing too! Learnt so much again this weekend, and so grateful to be able to be a part of this journey with you and your symbols. I loved it all! Great attunements – wowness! I’m gonna miss you around here (in Perth.) Come back soon, ive got lots more I need to learn. Enjoy, relax, have fun!”

Deena Esquivel Peters

“I found the workshop informative, most of all, I enjoyed the simplicity of each manual presented. Just enough information, not to overloaded. Clear and to the point. A fun and interactive space. Felt very comfortable. Love the symbols. I absolutely loved the attunement from Galactic Reiki 1 to Masters. Powerful energies. Felt much clearing and downloading. Amazing!”

Tina Mirco

“F*kin super f*kin epic. OMG. The attunements were mind blowing. Day two – no words of this world can explain this magical experience. My favourite part – I thought the whole thing was amazing. Best of all I am attuned to be able to share and pass this amazing sacred gift on for the betterment and riding of all humans wellbeing and consciousness.”

“Thank you for coming to Galactic Reiki. I found the course to be very informative over the 3 days. Once of my favourite parts was the shared healing. It felt so powerful both as the practitioner and the participant. I look forward to the future.”

David Krogh

“Absolutely loved it! I love working with the symbols and it was wonderful to get my energy flowing. My favourite part of the weekend was the attunements and seeing how much more powerful they become each day. I loved giving and receiving the healings and can’t wait to keep practicing and developing my abilities. Thank you.”

“No goodbyes, just a huge thank you. I can’t even describe what a beautiful soul you are! Sharing encouragement and the laughs. I said it before and I’ll say it again, thanks for the much needed kick! I’ll always recommend your workshops. So, not goodbye but see you soon! In gratitude for meeting you! My favourite part was all of it, seeing people blossom, in awe of it.”

GALACTIC REIKI RETREAT

MARCH 2016

VALDORA, QUEENSLAND

“I had the most incredible time at Kushlas Galactic Reiki Workshop, learning and remembering so many facets of our truth as energetic beings, working through a beautifully accessible way of healing. The geometry that we use in this workshop which Kushla channels in, allows us to move through the energy work exceptionally fast with incredible results even just in the workshop in a learning environment, we could all see direct shifts through the tools taught by Kushla, in this powerful modality. Kushla’s teaching style is what I genuinely enjoyed about doing this workshop, she kept us all giggling at points, so we were all relaxed in our learning, and that gave us the freedom to connect with Galactic Reiki on even deeper levels. I felt like I was among old friends all working together in unity toward developing our skills as healers. I personally would recommend Kushla to anyone wanting to learn Reiki, she is incredible at what she does, and everyone walked out of the workshop shining bright with big, beautiful smiles. Thank you Kushla, I thoroughly enjoyed myself and look forward to the next one!”

“Absolutely loved my weekend of learning Galactic Reiki with Kushla. This healing modality is on another level. The setting is amazing, I can totally recommend doing this workshop to everybody. Adding in the sacred geometry and the attunements left me buzzing. Thank you Kushla!”

” I have been practising Reiki for over 20 years, I teach classes as well as conduct Reiki healing in my business. I thoroughly enjoyed learning Kushlas Galactic Reiki. I am passionate about Reiki Healing and am so blessed to have learnt new, wonderful, awe-inspiring teachings to add to my healings. Thank you Kushla for your wonderful gifts. I know my future clients will love Galactic Reiki as much as I do. Blessings.”

Dianne Lisson

“Amazing energy I felt coming from the symbols which made things easier for me to contemplate that perhaps I can be a healer. People were great. Kushla was excellent and I really did enjoy the weekend workshop.”

Marion Forrest

“Thanks Kushla. Your workshops are informative and fun! Your care and heartfelt teachings make it an expansive experience. I look forward to sharing my gifts and new techniques with others. Love Divine.”

Brooke Smith

“Absolutely epic workshop, although I have previously completed all the Galactic Reiki Workshops with Kushla three years ago. With time and life changes I was wanting to do a refresher workshop, and was so glad when Kushla returned to the Sunshine Coast. Day one done and dusted I felt like the energiser bunny had recharged and overhauled me! Day two helped building confidence relating to the entire process. Loved the changes Kushla has made to the workshop, I actually felt it made it easier to integrate and process all the material. Highly recommend past students to come along and do a refresher!”

“I had a great time at the Galactic Reiki weekend. The venue was relaxing and I loved the view! It was awesome having a healing, I felt so brand new afterwards, and fully refreshed and recharged to return home to the family. Thank you very much for a wonderful weekend.”
